Lone Star Rail

Lone Star Rail District exists to provide a travel alternative for residents along the I-35 corridor. As they began working toward the goal of building a rail line, LSRD needed to raise awareness and generate grassroots support among citizens and elected officials.

I partnered with their PR firm to identify the opportunities residents would gain if the rail system were built — greater access to education, employment, art and culture, and more — then led the content and imagery strategy that brought that story to life across their website and campaign materials.

Susan's Southern Marinade

A full brand build from the ground up: I led the logo, packaging, website, photography, and food styling for this small-batch marinade brand, giving it a shelf-ready identity that could compete with national names.

Chuy's

Following their IPO, Chuy’s was poised to go from regional chain restaurant to national Tex-Mex powerhouse, and needed a website that could scale with them.

I partnered with lead developers to design a more intuitive user experience — one that recognized each visitor’s time and location, while giving local restaurant managers an easy way to upload specials and merchandise. The result: a site built to support rapid, multi-market growth.

Vela

For five years, I partnered with Vela, a nonprofit that empowers families of children with special needs through hands-on resources and support. I led their marketing materials and helped shape the look and feel of Be the Light, Vela’s annual fundraiser — work that helped uplevel both the aesthetic and the overall guest experience.

I also served on the event committee, contributing to event planning, fundraising strategy, and on-site execution — helping turn Be the Light into a polished, memorable night that deepened support for Vela’s mission.

Bejas

I built the brand identity for Bejas, a restaurant and food truck in Fredericksburg, Texas — logo work that was later published in LogoLounge 8, one of the industry’s top annual design showcases.

Lajitas

For this golf and spa resort in the Big Bend area, I led advertising creative featured in Texas Monthly and earned a Platinum Award at the Graphis 2007 competition — recognition for standout hospitality branding in a competitive luxury travel market.

Sunfield

A residential subdivision in Buda, TX. I led the advertising, photography, and marketing collateral that shaped how the community was introduced to prospective home buyers.

Serene Hills

Serene Hills, a newly developed community in the rolling hills west of Austin, needed a brand and marketing system that could speak to its natural setting and attract custom home buyers from the ground up.

I started by visiting the community during early development, meeting with builders to understand the lifestyle we were selling. From there, I built the brand — starting with the logo, then desktop and mobile websites — and grew it into a full integrated campaign: paid and owned digital media, resident and realtor newsletters, out-of-home and print advertising, illustrated community maps, Google Ads, analytics, and social media. The result was a cohesive identity that carried the community from launch through sustained growth.

Carts

Capital Area Rural Transportation System. I led the logo, icon system, website, marketing materials, vehicle wraps, and environmental design — building a cohesive brand across every touchpoint riders encounter, from the bus stop to the app.

Adsperity

Adsperity, an Austin-based mobile ad-tech startup, needed to differentiate itself in a crowded landscape. I started by helping the team sharpen their brand — clarifying their mission, purpose, and values to better define the benefit to their customers — then built a logo and visual identity to match.

To prepare the team for upcoming conferences and sales meetings, I partnered with web development leads to build a polished web experience designed to convert visitors into demo sign-ups. I also equipped the team with supporting collateral — business cards, trade show swag, product one-sheeters, and digital media — to generate awareness and drive interest in the product ahead of launch.
